The Heritage Innovation Fund (HIF) is a pilot initiative designed to support organisations to explore, test and grow the new ways of working needed for the future of our diverse and varied heritage. The HIF is delivered in partnership with the Young Foundation, who have supported grantees with a learning programme in innovative practice. Now partway through its 3rd and final ‘Grow phase’, the HIF has seen 13 organisations supported with phased funding to explore the main barriers to a thriving heritage workforce and develop practical solutions. This session will take the form of a discussion with 2-3 HIF participants exploring their experiences on the fund, sharing learning and insights, and reflecting on how best to support innovation in the sector.
