Speakers: Jonathan Curzon, Head of Front of House, Nell Guy, Senior Front of House Manager, V&A South Kensington

We know that income generation is a key challenge, and we’re always working on how we can maximise the income generating streams we already have. We want to share what we’ve tried and what we’ve learned so far, in the hopes its helpful to our peers. We’ll start by looking at:

-How we prioritise our members, and how we ticket our exhibitions
-How we encourage pre-booking, to encourage onsite spend later
-Spend per visitor – what it is, why we use it, how a simple metric can be translated to team’s performance objectives and can communicate clearly
-Dashboard and reporting tools, what we use, what you can use too-Examples of what we’ve learnt: what’s selling well, what’s selling less well, how we’ve used this to adjust and see results (e.g. donations, guidebooks, etc.)
