Speakers: Sarah English, Engagement and Access Manager and Lizzie Short, Learning Officer, Staffordshire History Centre, Archives and Heritage, Staffordshire County Council

Coproduction is a fantastic tool when collaboratively developing new projects, but it can be difficult to know where to start. Especially when your audience includes children and young people!

In this informal workshop, we will share our skills and experience gained across multiple pioneering projects, starting with the basics of what coproduction means to us and its versatility in museums and heritage. Our ten tips for success will equip you with valuable insights, whether this means building inspirational environments, encouraging communication or promoting a creative ethos.

The session will include practical demonstrations to help build your confidence: hands-on voting activities, movement, craft, colour and a chance to experiment with our tried and tested coproduction methods. Everyone is welcome regardless of previous experience and all participation is optional. We hope you can join us!
