Speakers include: Victoria Ryves, Programme Manager (NPO), Heritage Doncaster

History, Health and Happiness aims to tackle isolation and improve wellbeing by using Heritage Doncaster’s collections as the basis for outreach and community engagement activities. Activities use history and storytelling to spark conversation, improve wellbeing and ultimately combat loneliness. Simply put – we use history to empower people to feel good about themselves and their communities and to feel more connected. Our activities all take place outside of our museum spaces and we aim to be people-centred, programming activities that reflect the essence of the communities that they take place in.

Victoria Ryves, Programme Manager, will unpick lessons that have been learnt during the five years of the programme’s development: sharing things she wished she’d known, mistakes that have been made and top tips for the future.
