What does it mean to have a gallery in an alternate, digital reality? Wolverhampton Art Gallery has been working with students Brandon, Amir, Uzair and Alex from Walsall College to design and build our galleries digitally in Roblox. Their game allows players to explore our galleries, solve puzzles, find clues, and engage with our collection in a totally new way.

Wolverhampton Art Gallery has been working with students Brandon, Amir, Uzair and Alex from Walsall College to design and build our galleries, digitally in Roblox. These Digital T-Level students developed new skills in game design whilst making Wolverhampton Art Gallery – Escape! The game allows players to explore our galleries, solve puzzles, find clues, and engage with our collection in a totally new way.
What does it mean to have a digital gallery?
With the help of some family testers and support from the college tutors, we’ve explored the pitfalls and tricks of creating a Roblox game that works online and in person.
